I might.

Not surprisingly California decided to uphold the Prop 8 ban while also upholding the marriages already performed for the 18,000+ same sex couples married in the 5 months marriage was legal in the state. It's disappointing that a state known for its leadership in so many progressive arenas would be behind in this. But we are moving forward, day by day. Prop 22 was passed by 22 points just 8 years ago. Prop 8 was passed by 4 points.

So we have a few more years ahead of us to really make this happen. That gives us time to get invested, as a community, in what we can be together. Marriage in California won't solve all our problems. But it is a powerful symbol of inclusion.
